Why Essex County Is a Cooling Market First
Windsor is the warmest city in Ontario, with a humidex of 30°C or higher on more than 70 days in an average summer. Windsor is about 45 minutes away on the 401. What you get is a full commercial team with three licensed trades, not a two-person branch office. Buildings on a preventative maintenance agreement get priority dispatch, and because we already know the equipment, the technician usually shows up with the right parts.
Permits in Essex County
Essex County doesn’t issue building permits itself. Each municipality does: the City of Windsor’s Building Division, and the building departments in Leamington, Kingsville, Lakeshore, Essex, Amherstburg, LaSalle and Tecumseh. Rules differ a little from town to town. In Windsor, for example, a furnace replacement or major duct change needs a permit. We check at the quote and pull the permit for you.

Yes. Walk-in coolers and freezers, cold storage rooms, reach-ins and process chilled water. Food processing and cold storage calls get our shortest response time because a temperature excursion means lost product.
Are you licensed and insured for work in Essex County?
Yes. We’re a TSSA-registered contractor with G1 and G2 gas technicians and an ECRA/ESA licensed electrical contractor (Licence #7015639), with WSIB in good standing and full liability coverage. We can send certificates for vendor setup or tender prequalification.

Yes. Send us your shutdown window and equipment list early, and we’ll stage the parts, crane and crew so the work fits inside it.
Are there incentives for commercial HVAC upgrades in Windsor-Essex?
