Bathroom Renovations in Ridgetown, ON
Ridgetown is known for its Victorian homes, and those houses weren’t built with today’s bathrooms in mind. In a lot of them the bathroom was added decades later, in whatever space was left over. Postma renovates Ridgetown bathrooms of every age, and because we’re a plumbing company first, the drains and water lines are done by our own licensed plumbers.

Renovating a Bathroom in a Victorian Home
Older Ridgetown homes come with a few common challenges once the walls are open:
- Bathrooms tucked under stairs or into converted closets with awkward ceiling heights
- Floors that are no longer level, which matters for tile and a curbless shower
- Plumbing that has been patched and rerouted over many decades
- Plaster and lath walls that need more care than drywall to open and close
We plan around all of this before work starts, so there are fewer surprises once the old room is torn out.
Popular Ridgetown Bathroom Upgrades

- A new vanity with more storage
- A comfort-height toilet
- Grab bar backing and a low-threshold shower for aging in place
